SAN-EARTH M5C

Product information | Product name: SanMat |
---|
It is a grounding material for non-woven mats composed of 100% carbon fiber without impurities.
- Water is not required.
- Materials that are not subject to risk assessment.
- Since it is rolled in a roll shape and lightweight, it has excellent workability and transportability.
- The same ground resistance reduction effect as the Sun Earth method can be obtained.
- In combination with sunflex wire, long-term stable ground resistance can be obtained.
The sunmat is very lightweight, weighing about 500g per 3m.
Ground resistance can be easily obtained by simply laying a sunflex wire in the excavated trench and covering it with a sunmat from above.
SanMat are suitable for the following sites:
- using products subject to risk assessment
- Difficult to transport heavy objects in mountainous areas
- High risk of corrosion in soil with constant moisture
Installation Method
Here are the steps for strip construction using sunmats and sunflex wires
1. Dig a trench
Dig a trench with a width of 50 cm and a depth of 75 cm or more (*) at the sunmat construction site. The bottom of the groove should be as flat as possible.

2. Laying of Sunflex Lines
The Sunflex wire is laid in the central part of the buried trench.

3. Laying the sunmat
Roll the rolled sunmat and lay it over the Sunflex wire, and press it so that it wraps around the Sunflex wire.

4. Backfill
After backfilling the soil to a thickness of about 10 cm, taking care not to damage the sunmat, trample it with your foot on top (Part A in the figure below).
After that, the entire trench is backfilled with soil and the ground is leveled (part B in the figure below).
